What's Inline Hockey?
Inline hockey is a sport similar to ice hockey but played with roller blades (inline skates for competition) and can also be played with roller skates. Players on two teams use hockey sticks to direct a disc-shaped puck into their opponent’s goal. The puck can be rebounded off the surrounding walls (boards), making it a fun, fast and flowing game that is exciting to watch. Unlike ice hockey, it is non-contact and much more accessible as it’s played on a hard, smooth surface. When played indoor on a rink, the game is not subject to weather conditions.
Our junior members range in age from 6-16 years and consist of both boys and girls who all play together as equals. Children can join our club with no hockey experience necessary, (however a certain level of fitness is required to be able to skate).
